I have tried so many times to get closed minded people to invest their ears into music worth listening to; however, no technique seems to work properly. So, I guess I will try by posting a band on this website full of articles no one reads. My efforts are probably in vain, but at least I won't get my hopes up.
Without further ado, here is this week's highlight "Matt and Kim" with their newest single "block by block":
It's not like I am discovering a hidden talent from down below, especially considering these guys have been featured on MTV and are now even endorsed by "Tune Up", but they don't get the respect they deserve. If you have ever seen this duo live, or even videos of them playing live; you probably understand why they are so likable. It would be hard to say there is a more energetic two piece in the business! Not to mention, it's hard to listen to a song of theirs without a smiling forming across your naive face. With this being said, I am asking you to take a comfortable step out of "Main Stream", and into "Less Main Stream", if you will. Considering our journey of music will take us into the abyssal plains of the indie music world, I figure it is a good start! Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Guess who's back?
If you were hoping I would never enlighten your cranium with useless information ever again, well -- I'm sorry. Yes, I am back and who knows for how long? It seems to me that posting these things emerges from times of boredom, or just moods of deep though; however, when they come a long I usually tend to take control of these. You see, I have a talent for writing, I just really hate to. So, in the case of actually feeling like it, I will. Usually, it results in this -- a post that probably no one will read -- other times however, it seems to turn out quite inspirational.
Anyways, I am not going to keep you reading any longer, I just thought the return of my presence should be noted in some way, mostly because when I don't post again for 6 months, I can remember how I promised you guys I would!
